The 2020 Dodge Challenger is More Powerful Than Ever

2019 challenger burning outThe 2020 Dodge Challenger lineup includes a variety of different trim grades, suited to fit every budget. Each of which offers plenty of pep on the highway. The various trim grades include the R/T, R/T Scat Pack, R/T Sat Pack Widebody, SXT, GT, SRT Hellcat, SRT Hellcat Redeye, SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody, and SRT Hellcat Redeye, all of which are designed to provide ample power and control on the asphalt.

The 2020 Dodge Challenger lineup features four different engines. The engines are trim-specific and are tuned to deliver precise power throughout every single drive. In the 2020 Challenger SXT, SXT AWD, GT and GT AWD models you will find the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, delivering a huge 305 horsepower on the road.

There’s also a 375-horsepower 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine which offers incredible performance under the hood of the Challenger R/T models (the R/T, R/T Scat Pack, and the R/T Scat Pack Widebody). The R/T Scat Pack and the R/T Scat Pack Widebody can also be equipped with a naturally aspirated 392 HEMI V8 Engine, delivering 485 horsepower on the road.

The most powerful engines come in the form of a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine which delivers a whopping 717 horsepower and is available on the SRT Hellcat models of the vehicle, or the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI high-output V8 engine which is available in the SRT Hellcat Redeye models and delivers a phenomenal 797 horsepower!

The 2020 Dodge Challenger engines can be paired with either manual or automatic transmissions. The R/T, R/T Scat Pack, and SRT Hellcat models come standard with the Tremac six-speed manual transmission, while the GT, GT AWD, SXT, SXT AWD, and SRT Hellcat Redeye models come as standard with an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission. An automatic transmission is available for models that come standard with the manual transmission.
