Some of the top features which helped to earn the Renegade this rating include Forward Collision Warning-Plus, Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), and LED projector headlamps with optional high-beam control. 

As well as the features mentioned above, there are over 70 standard and available safety and security features. The Jeep® Renegade is first in its class to offer the advanced Forward Collision Warning-Plus and LaneSense Departure Warning-Plus. The Renegade’s optional Forward Collision Warning-Plus received the highest possible rating by the IIHS when it comes to crash prevention features. The system is designed to prevent a collision by warning the driver to take action. If the driver fails to heed the warning and take action the warning, then the system will automatically apply the brakes to help avoid a collision.

The LED projector headlamps with automatic high beam control are one of the features which contributed to the Renegade’s Top Safety Pick rating. Automatic high beam control provides superior light while driving, and automatically adapts between high and low beam functions without any input required from the driver. The 2020 Jeep® Renegade also earned the highest possible rating in five other crashworthiness tests.

The 2020 Jeep® Renegade maintains the brand’s iconic bold styling, but offers buyers a fresh spin. With plenty of storage solutions, seating choices that are paired with crafted interior materials, and the latest technologies like Google Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The latest Uconnect system is included as standard to keep occupants entertained and connected. The engine options range from a 1.3-liter Four Cylinder engine which has a fuel efficiency of 32 miles per gallon, and a 2.4-liter Tigershark engine with 29 miles per gallon (highway miles).
